Hello World (or more probably, you who has stumbled across my new blog)!
I'm Sianna and this is my first blog (save a xanga.com account I once had when I was about 15). I'm not really sure how this is going to go, but I think it'll just be like a diary, except wayy more public. This is mostly because I'm far too narcissistic to think that my thoughts and ideas should be private. So we'll all just play it by ear.
Since I know you're all just dying to know all about me, I'll let you into my background a bit. I'm finishing up the first semester of my junior year at Pace University in New York. Even though I go to school in the Empire State, I'm from Long Beach, CA, and I'm a total Southern California girl. I hate the cold, so living here kind of sucks for me, at least from November to like March. But I get to go to Long Beach for Christmas and summer!
My rant for today is people who bail. I just can't stand it. See, I need to do community service for a class I'm in. Now, since I'm not from around here, I have no car to get to my volunteer work. I'm supposed to be doing this with a friend of mine who has a car, but she's flaking on me basically on a day-to-day basis. I'm worried now that I won't get my 15 hours (due Tuesday, and I have 4) because I'm completely reliant on her car. I don't know what she plans on doing, since she also needs these hours. Anyway, I guess my advice for anyone is, if you plan on committing to something, make sure you actually commit. Take into asccount the people around you. Because by flaking on something, no matter how seemingly insignificant, is rude.
Quote of the Day: If someone thinks that love and peace is a cliche that must have been left behind in the Sixties, that's his problem. Love and peace are eternal. --John Lennon
